Full Details for the 2024 spring Juice Cleanse Event

how to do a good part & co. juice cleanse

Before

We highly recommend eliminating caffeine, alcohol, and processed foods 5 days prior to your juice cleanse. As you eliminate these components from your diet try eating more raw foods to help prime your body for maximum absorption of the nutrients and minerals.

During

The juices in our cleanses are numbered in the order you should drink them. Drink them every 2-3 hours along with lots of water throughout the day. Water is great for keeping hydrated and for flushing toxins out of our bodies during the juice cleanse.

After

We recommend raw foods or vegetable soups as your first few meals after the cleanse. Easing back into solid foods is best for your body now that your digestive system has had a break from so much hard work. Continue to avoid caffeine, alcohol, and all processed foods (refined sugars, dairy, meats, candy etc.) for at least 48 hours.

 F.A.Q.’s

  1. Where is your new location? We’re located inside the Ralph O’Connor Center off University Parkway on the Johns Hopkins University Homewood Campus. Click here for directions via Google Maps.

  2. How is the juice packaged? Our juices come bagged or in a box depending on the size of your order. 3 and 5-day cleanses can be a heavy to carry so please bring assistance with you when you pick up.

  3. Can I eat during the cleanse? No, it is not recommended that you eat during the juice cleanse. Fasting from food allows for maximum benefits and the digestion of food will detract from the healing and the natural energy boost we receive during cleansing.

  4. Can I drink tea? Yes, non-caffeinated, herbal tea is ok to drink during your juice cleanse.

  5. Can I drink coffee? No.

  6. How often should I cleanse? Frequency of juice cleanses varies for the individual but we recommend

    • Completing the 1-day juice fast once a month with any combination of our juices, or

    • Completing the 3-day Recharge cleanse once a quarter

  7. Do the juices need to be refrigerated? Yes, you should refrigerate your juices as soon as you get home or to a place where you can refrigerate them.

  8. What’s the shelf life of the juices? Our juices are cold-pressed without any kind of pasteurization so the peak shelf life is 3-5 days. Many of our wellness and immune boosting shots are a bit more concentrated with preserving ingredients so those items have longer shelf lives up to 7 days.

  9. Can I change the recipe for a juice in my juice cleanse? No, our juices are produced in batches so we are not able to add or remove any ingredients as it will impact the production of the entire batch.

  10. What about the sugar? We do not use any added sugars with any of our recipes. Our sweeter recipes do contain sugars from fruits and vegetables however “good sugar” from real fruits and vegetables do not impact the body the way that refined sugars do. Without the fiber content from whole fruits and veggies the body will process sugar from the juice faster and more naturally. If you have issues with insulin or insulin resistance and your are still unsure please consult a medical professional before committing to a juice cleanse.

  11. How will I know when my juice cleanse is ready for pickup? Customers will be notified on Saturdays via email and text with pickup times and location. (Pickup location will either be at our cafe in the Ralph O’Connor Center at Johns Hopkins University or a few blocks away at our juice kitchen.)

  12. What happened to the glass bottles? We’ve recently converted to plastic bottles for the safety and convenience of our customers. We do not accept returns for plastic bottles. We’d love to see you recycle the plastic bottles and do GOOD for our planet.
